PLANNING

DIGITAL PRINTING
Digital printing is the most versatile and accessible option. It delivers vibrant colour, crisp detail, and the flexibility to print everything from bold graphics to delicate watercolours.

If you’re dreaming of modern designs, bright hues, or want to include photos, digital printing is the way to go.

The finish is smooth, and it works beautifully on a wide variety of cardstocks, from classic white to rich, dramatic shades.

The Details That Set the Tone

LETTERPRESS
Letterpress is a true tactile experience. Each invitation is pressed with an old-school machine or by hand, leaving a deep, pillowy impression in the paper that you can both see and feel.

We recommend luxurious cotton or textured stocks for the best effect—think thick, soft, and substantial in the hand. Letterpress suits minimalist designs and bold typography, making every detail stand out.

It’s a premium investment, usually two to three times the cost of digital, but the result is pure wedding magic.

WHITE INK PRINTING
White ink printing is striking and modern, especially when paired with deep or richly coloured cardstocks where traditional inks would disappear.

The crisp, opaque white ink creates a fresh, contemporary look that’s perfect for minimalist lovers or anyone after a twist on classic invitations.

This technique is best reserved for dark cardstocks—think navy, black, emerald, or deep terracotta—where the white truly pops. On lighter, neutral, or pastel cardstocks, white ink won’t deliver the same bold effect and is generally not recommended.

PRINT TYPES EXPLAINED

Your stationery isn’t just paper. It’s the first impression of your celebration. Here’s how each print type brings your vision to life.

DEBOSSING AND EMBOSSING
Debossing presses your design into the card for a sunken, tactile effect, while embossing raises it up from the surface, adding subtle dimension and drama. Both techniques can be combined with foil or ink for extra wow-factor.

These finishes are ideal for elegant, understated luxury—think monograms, logos, or feature details. Pricing for debossing and embossing is usually an add-on to digital or letterpress, so expect a premium for the setup and finish.

FOIL STAMPING
Foil stamping introduces a luminous, metallic finish to your suite. Available in gold, silver, rose gold and more, foil stamping catches the light and instantly elevates your design. It shines on both light and dark cardstocks, and works especially well for highlighting names, monograms, or special motifs. Foil stamping sits above digital in terms of cost, often similar to or just below letterpress, depending on the complexity and quantity.

Specialty Finishes

If you want to push the boundaries, specialty finishes are where your stationery becomes truly bespoke. We offer die-cut shapes (arches, scallops, pebbles), translucent vellum overlays, velvet-touch laminates, wax seals, and more. These details bring personality and a custom edge to your suite. Pricing varies, but most specialty finishes are add-ons—so you can choose what matters most for your vision and budget.

Colour Stories

We believe your colour choices should feel personal and inspired—not just selected from a standard set. Our “colour stories” are thoughtfully curated to reflect the mood, season, and personality of your celebration.

Whether you’re drawn to earthy neutrals, bold jewel tones, or romantic pastels, you’ll find inspiration and guidance in our collection of on-trend cardstocks and inks.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
10+ YEARS EVENT EXPERIENCE
CREATIVE AT HEART

"I've always had a love for stationery and creating beautiful designs. As a kid I spent hours making hand-crafted cards… and then when I got older and learnt graphic design, stationery was a no-brainer.

Add in a career as an event manager of one of the largest international sports event in Australia and you have me - someone who’s literally a jack of all trades, understands the ins and outs of event planning and what it takes to run smoothly.

When I’m not perfecting palettes, dreaming up designs or curating a sweet suite of custom stationery… catch me belting out tunes on the open road, with my partner Nick and our fur child Ralph on the way to our next wedding expo."
