stumped with the shapes on canva?

Are you ready to design amazing wedding stationery on Canva, just the same as what you see from pro designers on Instagram?

If you're in the process of designing your wedding stationery on Canva, and the above is you, then do I have the freebie for you!!

Our amazing SVG shape templates are just the thing to make your *boring/not boring* rectangular invites and transform them into on trend invites that, when in the hands of a pro printer, will look like you spend a bomb (but we know that's not the case #notsosecret).

IMAGINE IF....

You could make your own amazing designs on Canva, with the shapes you dream off with access to amazing printers to ensure the end result is just as amazing as the pro designers...

about me

I’m Tania, aka The Event Wanderer, proud fur mama, avid baker, child of the 80s, stationery nerd and a believer in creating magic where ever I go.

I’ve always been a lover of ‘love’. A believer in fairy tales, family and most importantly, celebration. Having spent over 15 years working in various roles across large, small and even international events, I know the stress and chaos that can manifest when planning any form of celebration! More so when the event is one that is deeply personal and where love is a driving factor.

But the way I see it, event planning should be enjoyable, and you know what, with the right vendors on hand, it can be.

I'm also a massive advocate for Canva and harnessing the power of DIY Designing and using your own talents to create amazing stationery. It's for this reason I introduced our Print and Production service: you design & I print! To learn more about this service click on the link below.

FAQs

what size are the templates in?

All out templates come in 120mm x 180mm which is the standard size we design all our invitations in. However these templates can be enlarged/reduced to smaller sizes depending on the scale of your artboard.

When sending my designs for printing, do I leave the shape template on?

Yes, BUT only if you are engaging with a professional designer or bespoke wedding invitation printer. These professionals will be able to modify your design to be print ready and ensure that your shapes are cut correctly and without the 'safe zone' bleed.

Please do not use these shapes if you are engaging with online printers where you load in a PDF and submit your design as a single page file. These printers (e.g. Officewords, Vistaprint, Canva), are mass production facilities were your files are simply printed as is. Therefore, if you leave these shape templates on your design, they will be printed as is and your image will have the templates printed to them.

Can I use these templates with a Cricut

You sure can! Simply download the images out of Canva and upload into your Cricut platform and cut away to your hearts content!
